Most recent changes to the Dish Channel List page
6/27/07- After so much speculation about what channel would go on channel 137, it turns out to be nothing more than a mirror of shopping channel QVC. At least it is not taking up any extra bandwidth.
Transponder 11 at 119°
- KPAX DT2 CW in Missoula, MT became available to local subscribers on channel 7124 and is mapped down to channel 7 on most Dish receivers.
- The following HD Regional Sports Networks are warming up at 129° transponder 8
- 377 Fox Sports Cincinnati
- 378 Fox Sports Pittsburgh (Also at 61.5° tp 30)
- 380 Fox Sports Detroit
- 381 Sports Time Ohio
- Remember all these channels are part-time channels and all share bandwidth.
- Setanta Sports is now uplinked but not yet available to subscribers on channel 406 to 6 at 110°
- All the MLB Extra Innings channels that have been hidden for half the season have finally been removed from the system. Channels 625-639 have been removed from the system. This does not save any bandwidth. All these channels were actually mirrors of "SKDL" channels in the 5000 channel range.
- KTNL1 and KTNL2 have been removed from tp 14 at 148°
- Temporary test channels TEMP1 and TEMP2 have been added to channels 5711 and 5712 on tp 17 at 110°. These channels are not available to subscribers.
- Birmingham, AL ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox HD local channels are now uplinked to tp 9 spot 12 at 119° on channels 6495-6498.
- Wilmington, NC STANDARD definition channels WWAY (ABC), WILM (CBS), WECT (NBC), WSFX (Fox) and WUNJ (PBS) are now uplinked to channels 8683-8687.
- TNT-HD, ESPHD, ES2HD, NFLHD, HBOHD, SHOHD, NTGHD, STZHD and HGHD all changed their EPG names to match the standard Definition counterparts. TNT, ESPN, ESPN2, NFL, HBO, SHO-E, NTGEO, STARZ and HGTV. Please remember that HGTV HD and National Geographic HD have DIFFERENT PROGRAM SCHEDULES than their standard definition counterparts.
- Free preview channel 574 and 575 have been removed from subscribers' receivers and are no longer available. These channels were only available to specific subscribers
