I think the dreambox and some of the DVBs cards run on open source.
You can find these easily by searching the web.
The rest are closely guarded source.
The bins are assembly and run on RISC processors.
You may look at the IDA decompiler to disassemble the bin.
Google TQK150 for the QPSK Capture PCI card with DVB SPI ( LVDS) and DVB ASI output.
