Of course this is "Monday Morning QBing": I think if they'd have marketed this as a box that upgrades easily via a network so you don't HAVE to use a usb drive or 232 cable to load new firmware and then had established & maintained a rep for bins being released in a timely manner, then this machine would be looked upon as a "best buy" even at around $200. I am really hoping that the rumored impending release works well, but I am also very skeptical.
No matter what the historical revisionists say, this stb WAS heavily marketed as an IKS, little down time receiver. Otherwise, I wouldn't have bought it. I do love it when it's up, but its uptime has NOT been competitive with the cardless competition. Again, for the revisionists, this box WAS marketed as being a competitor to the nFusion in terms of reliability. This is fact!!

yea , I haven't been in the "HOBBY" long really , I spent about a month doing research ,and thought i had the best Box picked out, it wasn't dumb luck i picked the box , it was promoted to be the next big thing, so i feel you man. its not even that much money heck Ive waisted more thousands of times, but now I'm kinda gun shy of any off this stuff, and I sure wont waste money on it till something is done about nag3, so i will wait and wait and wait, for a new fix or ecm and go back to 1.1 because thats what i been watching TV on for the last few months

there has been 3 fixes by the team since it sold out , none worked if DN hadn't rolled back to a previous ecm we would have a total of like 1 week of actual uptime in the last 3 months on fix's, in that same time sv 360 has had the same bin 186 and 186p still up today and thats impressive stuff. well 1.1 has worked when ecms are down or rolled back so theres that at least
