Traxis DBS3500 Receiver
Hello all,
Does anyone know about the traxis 3500 receiver. It is for free channels on KU band galaxy 10?
Is it a good receiver and where can I get files for it?
Thanks,

Re: Traxis DBS3500 Receiver
this unit is one of the overall best rated true fta receivers.
said to have GREAT blind scan, and work well.
you will not need any files for this stb for 123w galaxy 18 for example.
simply point a dish there and blind scan.and you will be enjoying free tv buddy.
there is no 3rd party support for these ones.

Re: Traxis DBS3500 Receiver
Thankyou all for your input and the welcome.
Can you tell me what channels I will get with this receiver?
I searched lyngsat.com and can't understand which channels will come in on 123w galaxy 18.
Will I be able to get espn, espn2, tvland, foxnews, movies, hallmark, and such.
How can I know what channels I will get with this receiver?
Also, is this the only satellite that this receiver will pick up?

Re: Traxis DBS3500 Receiver
no,you will not find channels like this with this stb as a rule.
if you can find such channels from time to time on C band with a large 10' or 12' dish during times of testings when they need to bring down the encryption system.
and on feeds you can get with blind scans.
you can get these channels on KU band currently:

also note 123w's latest status here:

be sure to check on some other receivers.you might find additional information.

Re: Traxis DBS3500 Receiver
Thanks for the info. I'll don't know if I want this or not. The new channels you get on your local digital channels are getting better and more of them.
