Ok, that makes sense with respect to BEV. So, really, having an mpeg2 HD receiver (for HD use) isn't worth purchasing unless you're planning on picking up BEV.

But I'm still confused why some channels are listed as mpeg4/HD or simply HD on DN. (might be just a typo)
