I use Astra 28 alot, simply because it has so many English channels. There are so many FTA's there it compares to many cable deals etc. that ppls pay for here. Sky use it to provide serices throughout the Uk to it's customers, however they are very well protected and there's no simple way I know of to get around that. I used to get alot from Astra 1 on 19.2, but that's pretty much locked down just in recent months. Not so many English channels, but some of the german ones have options to set the audio to English.
