they do suck more power then the normal dish,, keep an eye on ur box, u are drawing more power then the box puts out,,,if gets hotter then normal,,then it is affecting ur coolsat,,u can get a dp44 switch and a power inserter ,,and use that to power the dish,,till u decide to run another stb with the dish,,or if u got an old sub receiver kicking around,,even if u just hook it too the dish to add extra power,,,dont matter if ur not subscribing,,it should deliver power to the lnb too
