I had that problem with mine and i know some other people who had that problem too. If it acts like its gonna come on, the front lights flash on then go off, its probably a capacitor. On most of them its the 10 v 1000uf one. You can tell by the top of the capacitor. It should be flat on top. If it looks swelled or if its leaking it will have to be replaced. If it leaks down onto the board, it can ruin it. You can get these capacitors at radio shacke. I hope this helps ya.
