the netgear Xe102 is plenty fast enuff for ur nfusion,,ive had a nova hooked to them for almost 2 years now,,they are very simple to use,,monkey proof lol,, they pretty cheap as well,,if all u ever plan on using it for is to connnect ur stb to ur router,,dont waste money buying a fancy one,,these puppies work great
and yes u could use it too connect ur laptop to the internet,, if u got a wireless n network,,u would probably want faster netgears then
