I hadn't had my stb on for a couple of days until last evening (unplugged from the wall type of off). It took a while for the keys to roll. Longer than I was expecting.

I'm sure you've tried just letting it sit on channel 239 and waiting for the keys to roll but in case you haven't you might let it sit there for a while. Mine took about 20 minutes I think.
