Re: Dish 1000.2 HELP
Not sure about the 211 STB receiver, but is there a place in menu where you can define each sat for each port. Like 119 to port 1, 110 to port 2, and 129 to port 3???

Re: Dish 1000.2 HELP
I Have not found that setting. I am wondering if it could just be a issue with the skew? Since i did a check it only picks up 119 do i need to keep doing checks or will it just start reading in the strentgh bar for 110 and 129 once i get it sighted in correctly?

Re: Dish 1000.2 HELP
just fine tune your skew... maybe have to go left/right (slightly) then skew & repeat as needed...quality bar will raise on it's own as you get 'er dialed in...
Question: Is that 211 a "Dish Network" receiver or FTA ?
Question: Internet fed ? (exp."I-hub") or Stand-alone ?
Answers: If 211 is "Dish Network" receiver (you will get no tv without a "Sub")
Answers: If 211 is FTA stand-alone (you will only get "NASA" channel on those sats)(only "ION" channel on Nimiq sats)
Answers: If 211 is Internet Fed receiver (for example "I-Hub") Skew dish and you're all set. =)

Re: Dish 1000.2 HELP
you should go to your install settings and under i think it is install or signal something like that you can see all the sats just arrow up or down for the sats you are trying to get then you will have to run a check switch that will tell you if your settings are right and if you are getting all the sats it will also tell yo the skew and elev for the location just put in the zip

Another piece of the pie. This receiver works fine at my house. I can get all the channels on this reciver and also on my main reciver at the house.

Re: Dish 1000.2 HELP
Do you have only one lead/cable comming from the dish ??
the 1000.2 has an internal switch (all 3 sats with 1 line & no external discq) which is deactivated with the use of multi-leads and external switches...
If have more than 1 line connected that could be the reason you are not picking up the other 2 sats.
On your receiver you should be able to choose which "port" you want to use for each sat. instead of foil just turn Off the other 2 sat ports with the receiver... dial it in and then turn on ports #2 #3 on other sats & skew it in...

that is all you have to do after you get 119 all you might have to do is skew it alittle. start off at 90 skew get 119 locked and then fine tune it and do a check switch you should be good to go good luck

Re: Dish 1000.2 HELP
Use 12239. Keep trying, you will get it aimed. It is a pain though...

do you have the manual for your dish, it will tell you exactly what to set
your skew for your particular location, also gives you correct elevation
setting and azimuth.

Re: Dish 1000.2 HELP
Put your zipcode/location into this dish pionter.....choose multi lnb setups.....choose 110w,119w,129w.... adjust dish accordingly....see what you get, may need slight fine tunning....(uncover lnbs...set each one to a port on receiver #1-119W: #2-110W: #3-129W)
