Re: A Hd Question
no.
if you are trying to get bev, you will need to receive sat 82 and if you are trying to get HD on dn you will need to have an lnb pointed at 129 if you want to get the majority of HD channels and you will also have to have the 8psk add on module for DN.

Re: A Hd Question
you must add on the module to get hd on dn but you can still get bev without the module on sat 82..

Re: A Hd Question
We need more info like whats sats are you pointed at and so on. But like hazwis said for DN you will need the add on 8psk but for BEV no need for 8psk. I have that same receiver and it rocks. Feel free if you need more help but we will need more info on your setup. Thanks

In response to your LNB question I believe that is a no. I connected a single LNB on a 31" dish with the board in a VS9 to a HD Panasonic and all looks great. If it gets better with a different LNB then I would like to know this also. The advice from previous posts are necessary parts to obtaining what you are looking for.
