Re: Dish 1000 plus question
no, im fairly sure there is a switch built in.
use port 1 for 119, port 2 for 110 and port 3 for 129.

Re: Dish 1000 plus question
If you have a real DN1000 Plus, the LNBs are 3 separate assemblies with a big-eye in the middle. You will need a DPP44 switch for this to receive 110-118.7-119-129.

Re: Dish 1000 plus question
A D1000.2 has a 3-LNB Assembly with built-in switch for 110-119-129.

Re: Dish 1000 plus question
The middle LNB should be a big square one with a big eye instead of the usual hockey puck.
Go here to confirm your dish, get the manual while you're there.
Dish Network Dish 1000 Plus Dish1000Plus 110 118.7 119 129

Re: Dish 1000 plus question
Thanks for your help, jayjay. This site doesn't allow attachements, so I couldn't post that picture. I tried to post a link, but that didn't work either. The DN dish names are confusing to a lot of folks.

Re: Dish 1000 plus question
jayjay: If gio's dish is in fact a 1000.2 and not a 1000Plus, the switch is built-in.

thanks DC you are correct! that lnb does have the switch built in. I got a little side tracked cuz im between to threads with similiar questions and 1 of them was looking to hook up 4 recievers. That will teach me to pay closer attention
