The decryption is received by the internet connection. the picture and sound still come from the sat stream to the dish.

your viewsat on the other hand is using a code designed to unscramble the signal without knowing the "control word".
with IKS, just like placing a phone call, the receiving line can log your IP address (like caller ID) which makes you completely identifiable. cardsharing is defined clearly in the Terms Of Service to the cardholder as Illegal, where as I have been told by a good paralegal, "what is done with bin loaded boxes lies in a grey area of the law and is no different from connecting to the internet on your neighbors WiFi"
