myspace.com and youtube will continue to soar regardless of our economy. they have over 100 million registered users.
when big companies have issues with sales, they push marketing even harder...just look at GM. they've got a huge campaign to push their product, even while looking at bankruptcy straight in the face.
Murdoch is an old fart with nothing but money to lose. If you can look past his bullcrap propoganda, you'll see he's just a scared little kid who's lost his lollipop.
If everyone lived on less than what they made (what a concept!!) and had a budget for themselves, times wouldn't be nearly as tough, IMHO.
