It is no different than setting up DirectTV. Once you have the receiver connected, go to menu->system setup->installation->point dish and then adjust your Az, El and skew to get the highest signal strength possible. Make sure you select each of the three satellites (use up/down arrows) and check signal strength. You may not have a high signal on all satellites, but do not worry. Just make sure you have more than 25 for each and then skew to peak signal strenght. You only need enough signal strength to get a picture and this is different for each satellite.

You must do the check switch to make sure that the VIP222 has picked up the right satellites.
