Signal indicates that the LNB is communicating with your receiver. Quality represents the strength of your communication with the satellite.

So if your S = 96%, then the LNB is good and communicating with the receiver, and S= 0% meanns that you have not hit the satellite. So you need to get the correct co-ordinates for your area and adjust the dish to those figures.

Please note that the markings on the dish are not accurate and will be either a little more or less than indicated on the dish.
