This is strickly my own opinion.
I believe there is a solid solution to N3 right now. In preparation to a full move by DN, the coders will work extra hard to make sure we all stay alive. BUT... that doesn't mean we will all be watching TV. This is an industry that millions of dollars are inputted and hope for a big return. In order to acheive this, FTA companies would and could release a brand new box that is compatible to the N3 bin files whereas the old boxes are not. It makes perfect sense for these companies to make a killing on this security switch; it is with no surprise that coders recieve a certain percentage as well.
In conclusion, don;t worry about going black... you just have to dish out some money for a new Box (go HD) and you are good to go. Since SV is going IKS with ihub, Viewsat will be releasing something big soon. stay tone and good health to everyone.
