Re: 6 sats to one to 5 receivers ?????
I have never thought about a setup for more than 4 receivers, but what I am going to suggest may be worth a try as I know it will work for 4 receivers.
You will need two DP44 switches and 4 Ecoda 22Khz switches. Each 22Khz switch will have two inputs (22Khz ON and 22Khz OFF) and one output. 8 LNBs will go two each into each of the 22Khz switches. Each of the outputs of the 22Khz switch (four outputs) will not go into the 4 inputs of the first DP44. The bottom outputs of the first DP44 go to 4 receivers. The right 4 outputs of the first DP44 will now go into the 4 inputs of the second DP44. The bottom outputs of the second DP44 will now go to 4 additional receivers. This will give you a total of 8 LNBs feeding 8 receivers. If you cascade another DP44, you can feed another 4 receivers (I think).
I have added a pitcure to help you. Since I have not tried this two DP44 setup with 8 LNBs, I cannot guarentee that it will work, but technically this looks like it should work. If you do try it, let us know how it turned out.
Since you have that many receivers connected, the power requirement for the DP44 should be met, not sure. You may need a power inserter to power each of the DP44 switches, in that case you can only feed 6 receivers.
Good luck.
