Re: 6 sats to one to 5 receivers ?????

When designing the appropriate solution, take these into consideration:
1. Do not use DTV LNBs or switches for FTA.
2. Do not mix different LNB technologies with the same switch:
2.1 Dishpro LNBs work with dp34 (3 satellite locations) or dpp44 (4 satellite locations) multiswitches and can feed up to 4 receivers.
2.2 Standard Legacy LNBs work with conventional Zinwell or EMP Centauri multiswitches, but any single LNB should have dual output and uses 2 switch inputs - one for each polarization (13 V and 18V), so a 6x4 switch would give only 3 satellite locations to up to 4 receivers.
3. DP34 or DPP44 switches can be cascaded and double the number of receivers, but still 3 or 4 satellite locations.
4. The number of satellites can be increased by using for each receiver a 22khz ECODA switch having one input connected to a switch that provides 3 or 4 satellie locations and the other input to another switch of the same or different technology. This way, one of 3-4 Ports/satellites can be selected from one switch for receiver settings with 22khz OFF and other one of 3-4 Ports/satellites from the other switch for receiver settings with 22khz ON.
