"Problem is, every time I want to switch between cable and satellite, I need to manually switch wires connections in order to get signal properly". One splitter required. If you want your internet and cable TV and Satellite, real easy. Use a standard cable splitter and run one to Modem for your internet, the other direct to TV. Run the Sat cable direct to STB and RCA cables from STB to TV. Most STB remotes are programmable, then just use the STB remote for both TV and STB. No need to turn anything on or off except the TV. Use the input button on remote to go from Cable TV to STB, or DVD etc etc.
