Right now I'm useing dsl, with a westell model 6100 modem. At this time I'm useing the usb conection on the modem to conect to my computer. My question is, can I just use the eithernet port on my computer to hook up my powerline adapter, or do I need to be hooked up to the internet with ethernet? If not what do I need to make this work. Thanks for any help!
That Westell DSL modem is also a router. You should be able just to run a cat5 cable to your powerline adapter. Plug and play.
