Do the frequencies have to be set to a given transponder number? For example: does frequencey 12224 have to be set to TP2 ? or can it be set to TP 35? I understand the TP's are a range of transponders for a given satellite such as ECHO 7 has 32 transponders available to signals. Yet my reciever will let me enter as many as I choose, of course it will only pick up on the frequencies that have a signal. I can put the frequency at TP2 or TP50 It appears to make no difference. So in programming terms, the TP's that are listed in my reciever are simply and array of data frequency information...Correct?
