Sorry if I wasn't clear enough on what I was trying to do, but basically I had wires from my sat running to 2 TVs and and 1 wire from a cable co. running into my modem for internet. I added TV to my cable package as well and still wanted to keep using sat at the same time than cable without having to manually switch wires. What I needed was to be able to combine signals from sat and cable on 1 wire and split them again for 2 receivers (1 for sat and 1 for cable). Using just a spliter wasn't working because of frequencie issues. Turns out that I needed diplexers, to combine the signals from both (cable and sat) and split them again. This way, when I want to switch between cable and sat, I just need to use my remote without the need of changing wires on the back of receivers. Was that clear enough now or still confusing??? Anyway, everything is fine now. Thanks for the help to those who tried to help and for those who need any help tring to do the same...feel free to ask.
