if these are both FTA receivers AND you are only going to be using one at a time, then a switch or splitter is not nessessary......

all you need to do is run the satellite feed into one of the receivers like normal.....then you need to connect an RG6 cable to the "loop out" or "loop through" connector of this same receiver.....connect the other end of the loop out cable to the LNB input of the second receiver......

whichever receiver you are NOT using at any given time must be put in standby mode (powered off with remote) before you use the other receiver.....

use two different inputs on your TV, so now no cable swapping is nessessary.....just power one off with remote and power the other one on to switch between them.....
