Never tried 123w, but i recommend:
1. Sonicview
2. Kbox
3. Nfusion
they are all good.
Also I think the money it would cost you to get true fta sats would be about the same or more. Overall your better just to buy another receiver. True fta requires different dish, lnb's etc.
