Don't be so doomsday. People are working on N3 and we all knew it was coming. I purposely didn't buy a new unit waiting for N3 to hit and to see the outcome. Get a subscription for now. I'm adding to my subscription on my big dish while I wait since I can't even watch TV with rabbit ears anymore because the switch to digital is so weak I only get two stations. Been complaining about that since January.

The switch to N3 and to digital TV looks like a plan to get us all paying for FTA. Everyone in the country should be screaming. It reminds me of the days of "Radio Free Europe." It's a travesty of justice to do this now when people are suffering from bad economy. I can no longer watch my 13" Sharp Aquos, purchased two converter boxes, and two amplified antennas and nothing. I'm out about $675.00 for what used to be free TV airwaves. And now N3 is hitting hard on my old Pansat. My yard is littered with a big dish, a little dish, and it looks like we're being forced to get giant outdoor antennas to pick up what I used to get on rabbit ears. I have absolutely no local channels to watch the news. Thank God for the Internet...so far. They'll figure out a way to charge us for that yet.

If I added up all the money we have in equipment just to get TV, it's in the thousands, so count your blessings if you're only out one box. Screwed here and not fun.
