I saw a Invacom LNB reviewat Invacom SNH-031.3 LNBF Review?

is it just over rated? I am looking one for a fixed (non-motor) Dish. What is your thoughts?
what improves the signal quality is a low noise figure.....the noise figure on the invacom LNB is 0.3db.....which is pretty low.....

but asking the question "Does having Invacom LNB improves the signal Qty that much in real world?" is kind of pointless, because it would depend on what your comparing it too.....

thats like me saying my car is better than yours without even knowing what kind of car you have.....

so if you compare the invacom LNB against an LNB with a 0.5db noise figure, then the answer would be yes, the invacom would give you a bit better signal quality than the other LNB.....

if your using a fixed dish then there is absolutely no reason whatsoever to buy the invacom LNB.....im not knocking the invacom because its great for motorized dishes, i have one myself.....but its really a waste on a fixed dish because if you search around hard enough you can find linear LNBs with an equal noise figure of 0.3db or even lower at 0.2db.....and these LNBs will probably only cost you less than 20 bucks......

if your signal quality is low with a standard LNB of 0.2-0.3db then you are either not aimed properly, or your dish is too small for the satellite you are trying to receive......and in either one of these cases the invacom LNB will not increase your signal quality.......
