no....a satellite is either linear
OR circular, not both....you need to select the proper port in your antenna settings.....if your setting up a circular satellite then you need to select whichever port on the switch you have the circular port connected to....if your setting up a linear satellite you need to select a different port, where you have the linear connected to....
