I'm in Motor Hell!!!

okay, here's what's going on :
been running stationary dishes a long time
decided to get a motor (sg2100) big dish (90cm) and awesome LNB (invacom QPH-031) did my home work, thought I would attack with some knowledge and am failing miserably. My mounting pole is as true as it gets... flat level, circ level and drop level all say perfectly straight set incline of dish, elevation of motor (allowed for declination) shot real south( not magnetic) and can't get anything... running port 3 circular port 4 linear, switch is after motor and is a brand new real chieta 4X1, could it be I left port 1 and 2 open?
I did not reset the motor after installation? I'm at a loss. In the morning, I'm going to reset motor, loosen some bolts and move motor (using USUALS) to a sat I know I can get a strong signal from. either 110, 119 or 91. in theory, if I make adjustments with motor in position and nail it, would that get me in the ARC? oh sorry , this is running from a SV 8000 hd with ihub and a-1 v2 board.
any help will be greatly appreciated... Suggestions on settings for this LNB, straight through motor elevation, dish elevation etc.
zip 32738 thanks
(pete with the motor nightmare)
