Re: DN says Goodbye to the Pirates

Guys this will get cracked, its just a matter of time and money. I'm sure if the right people are offered the right amount of money, it wouldn't take long at all.

Let me ask you all this. Do you know of any type of encryption that is yet to be hacked?

mp3 and dvd protection got cracked (drm), game protection got cracked (starforce), app protection got cracked. If the security was made by a human/computer it can be cracked by a human/computer.

I don't really think fta wants to goto iks. Not only because of the risk on there end, but also the difficulty of it for the average joe. Fta people want to keep it easy so that people like us keep our friends and family hooked up, not something we want to do when we have to setup/explain and troubleshoot iks for people.

I'm sure dtv would have been cracked awhile ago if there was interest, but with dn being wide open, and offering the same channels for the mostpart, why bother? Fta saw no money in offering "options" like dn or dtv, and settling on just dn was fine.

Give it a few months guys, let things die down a little and I'm sure a fix will come out.
