Talking My Opinion:Is the nFusion NOVA Gonna get support on Charlie?

I put this in the RUMOR Mill Cause these are my thoughts and opinions..take it for what its worth

I have been reading tons of threads on this topic and there has been tons of posts on the topic. I know this hits a sensitive subject for alot of people. Im gonna set some reasoning from what I have read and I want you all to decide if its gonna be supported in the future on Charlie.

1. nFusion Nova was the first IKS FTA reciever built by nFusion manufacturers and set the mark as been supreme leader of IKS

2. After the release, The nFusion Nova was cloned heavily....taking $$$ away from nFusion....and taking away bandwith from the server

3. In Dec 08' nFusion announced the release of the nFusion Solaris....replacement for the nFusion Nova, and announced that the nova will be DISCONTINUED (no longer being manufactured). The difference between the Nova and the Solaris is The color (Silver=Nova, Black=Solaris), and an added security chip in the Ethernet card that allows the nFusion team to control the stb's using JTAG tools. The JTAG provides direct control of the device and detailed visibility at its outputs.

4. In January 09', nFusion releases 150.1 BIN, This has an added security function. It now checks you box for the security chip that was added in the Solaris model. When you first boot up the box is says, "Checking for security".......If you have a nFusion Nova or a Clone (it doesnt matter which, they have the same exact hardware/function) after the Check it would say, "Fail! No Device" (Which only means you dont have the JTAG device in you reciever).

5. Even though the nFusion Nova was discontinued it still was given support......up till the day (06.18.09) almost all channels when BLACK and turned from NAGRA 2 to NAGRA 3 Encryption on Charlie.

6. On 06.23.09 the nFusion Teamwas, issued a new BIN that allowed support for the Solaris/Pheonix/nFusion HD.......NOT the Nova....it figures right. It was a perfect time to use there JTAG tools which allowed them to controll who is able to use the new bin. They had to rewrite the code for N3 so why not include the security feature in the code. Now, people who have a nFusion Nova or a Clone (like i said earlier, "it doesnt matter which, they have the same exact hardware/function") dont have the security chip and can't use their boxes on Charlie.

7. If you want programming on Charlie and want to use you nFusion Nova, well you gonna have to purchase a SOLARIS ETHERNET CARD, which is currently the only way to UPGRADE your NOVA...I did it it works just fine and is cheaper than buying a Solaris, but I think they were heavilly back ordered and are no longer posted on the site...Home page

I just kept seeing post after post of people asking, "Is there support yet for the Nova" and as of yet there is no support for Charlie, BUT currently you can get tons more programming with any nFusion stb including the NOVA from BEV ( Sats 91w & 82w (82w is HD only))

Like I said in the begining of the post this is a RUMOR and I'm not going to set here and argue with people on my opinions or beliefs.

I just want people to come to an understanding of some of the facts or fiction on the subject...and ask yourself....Is there ever going to be support on the nFusion Nova on Charlie any time soon...if ever
