We have found out that there is a lot of activity with the clones of Coolsat boxes currently. Sellers in SoCal have been spotted endorsing clones of Coolsat 6000 Premium model. Freetech, Inc., the importer of Coolsat, are doing deep investigations starting today.

These clones are not identical to their original counterparts. Clones have orange colored LED numbers on the gift box where the receiver picture is (originals have green LED numbers). The clone receivers do not have the white stripe, thick power cord like the originals.

Opening the clone receiver and taking a look inside, numerous parts do not match the original Coolsat. On the bottom of the clone, there will be a sticker that says MADE IN KOREA. Original Coolsats do not carry this.

Buyers, dealers, and anyone else be warned. We have some leads on who is selling, but we do not want to misinform anyone until Freetech, Inc. lets us confirm.
