IHub does work on dial-up. Best to have seperate phone line installed for it. You'll need A computer/Laptop with A modem and network card installed(Big Fat phone jack). Set up computer for "connection sharing" and connect A "Crossover Cable" from computer to IHub. You may have to play with Ip address etc. And YES you can make A wireless connection with Dial-up. Buy 2 "Powerline Adapters", instead of plugging crossover cable into IHub, plug into Powerline Adapter 1 and plug into 110volt (don't use surge strip), plug Adapter 2 into 110v in room where IHub and SV are and connect from IHub to Adapter 2 with Regular internet cable RJ45.

Dial-up has no problem transfering the needed info to IHub. It works same as high speed even with slower dial-up connections. If your refering to using I-Hub to download movies etc. it may be A problem.
