quad pro lnb with dish 500 dish. The switch is buried in the wall, but installed said it was a typical switch for my setup. He couldn't figure out why I wasn't getting a signal either. Refused payment for his time, since he couldn't get it working.
We moved everything back to 110/119, and it scans and finds 600+ channels. Can't watch any of them, but they scan.
Is it possible that my setup is 'locked in' to only see 110/119? Installer said no, but what else explains why I can't get anything but 110/119.
Configuration is 4 novas, dish 500 with pro quad lnb. Linksys Wireless N switch, all novas running on powerline 85Mb ethernet.
When going to setup for 91W Nimiq1 I get a pretty decent S & Q (70 & 82). I go to scan channels and goes through all 32 pages, it doesn't find a single channel.
Do you have to change the menu option from Dish Network to Bell Express? Are there any menu options besides the sat info that I should change?
