When you were trying to aim the dish, how did you do it? I would suggest taking a short run of coax out and a Tv with the nova. Thus bypassing the switch. With a quad output LNB, you shouldn't need a seperate switch (nless you have more than 4 ports in your house, then there might be a switch hiding somewhere). Hook the nova directly into the LNB and use the Nova as the satfinder. Like you said it found it, but couldn't find channels which leads me to believe it's something in the switch config. What used to be 119 (91) should be on port 1 and 110 (82) on port 2. This has to be correct before you scan for channels. Unless they wired it up differently, this is how it should work. It'd really help if you could get to that switch and identify it.
