FIRST: turn your firewall of (pc and router) see if your network talks to a device

SECOND: make sure your router is set up properly, post your make and model # and I'll help you

THIRD: if first 2 things get you nowhere, call your ISP, let them know you are setting up a home network and you need them to open all com ports on the modem. Certain modems especially the combos with VOIP, don't like talking to outside devices (I went through this a few years ago). Get a tech on the phone and tell them about your connection issues. Tell them you are trying to get on xbox live, because they really don't need to know about your FTA hobby. Hopefully, if it comes to this, you will get someone on the phone who actually knows something and with the push of a button the modem is talking to the router, the router is talking to the Ihub and you are talking to ABA about how awesome the iHUb is. please post you router make and model # so we can go through the settings and make sure they are correct. -Mook
My Modem is an Arris TM402G/110 and I use a Linksys 5 Port Fast Ethernet Hub. Firewall is off. My iHub came in a box with blue letters (SV iHub) on it. A yellow and green light show all the time. My internet connection is RR Turbo so I know it is good enough. Nothing here I have read or tried has not gotten me any picture at any time. I checked the port and it is open. I have hooked up other PCs and xbox the same way and they all worked. No one ever talks about any settings in PC networking. I don't undrstand how anyone can just hook it up and it just work. It has to be setup in the PC networking, too! Doesn't it?? I really think my iHub is a bad one.
