Re: Pansat 9200 HD

I just got one and had some problems, but once I got it going it does great. What dish and setup do you have? You will most likely have to set up your lnbs then do a sat scan before the channels come rolling in.

that add on is to be able to get dn hd channels.
thus far is not needed to get bev hd at 82w

that alone will set you back about 250$

the 9200 needs lots of work.it lacks many many features found in 100-130$ units sadly.
and the pic is not completely stable yet.
its advertised as pvr,but there is no software to make it as such.to me thats false advertisement.but they do plan to code in pvr function at some point.

i hardly use mine.but with lots of work done to it,it could be great.
when running good, the pic is amazing.but full of bugs and not even 1/4 of the features it should have yet.
not worth around $400 in its current state imo.

to start a new thread.simply go to the fourm section you want to start a new thread in.
upward to the right top of all the other posts you will see a new thread button.

Re: Pansat 9200 HD

Aboristman,
Many thanks.
I am planning to buy hd receiver soon but reading and reading there is not good hd receiver for reasonable amount of money.
I assume your suggestion is to wait until they got better.
Did you test any other (viewsat, coolsat,).
I would like to stick with PANSAT due to Blacklist support but maybe somebody is ahead of pansat.
Any comment is highly appreciated.
Thanks

Re: Pansat 9200 HD

Thanks to all of you that have responded to this post. I appreciate all of the input provided. I still have confidence that the Pansat 9200HD will perform as advertised by Pansat USA. I have been in touch with Pansat USA. They have assured me that they are working to provide activation of the features that were advertised but not yet availabe on the Panny. I specifically asked about the pvr function and the sata function.
TO THE SITE ADMINS--with so many Panny9200s would the new year not be a good time to give the Panny 9200HD a home of its own on Abadss?

Re: Pansat 9200 HD

I have a Pansat 9200HD and it works perfectly.

To keep it running smoothly erase transponders after channel scans.

Best way to get all that is avalible is to blind scan your sats.

Then when done finding channels erase all transponders to save memory.

If you need to fine tune dish, Keep one weak transponder for that use.

Re: Pansat 9200 HD

3 Reason's to buy this reciever

1. It supports mpeg4

2. Has a channel capacity of 10000

3. And can do over the air Digital & HD channels

Re: Pansat 9200 HD

Had some problems with my 9200Hd,the sim card was bad from the factory right out the box it would not connect to the USB ,I sent it to Pansat for repairs when it arrived back to me the USB port is working but all channels setting ect. were set to test my reciever in California at the Pansat factory. Now its looking for Sattlites that are not there "is there a factory reset for the 9200HD so I can start from step (1) in the factory manual that says select laugange or is there some kind of way to erase the previous setting with out to much effort? any help is appricated"
