lost all chans level & quality - ABA DSS

hello guys, i am using a pnsat250 sm and after a thunderstorm w/ lightning i have lost all chans and all level & quality. anybody know what happened? thanks for the help

is your dish grounded properly? Was the dish moved in any way due to the storm? Do you have any loose cables that during the storm get disconnected?Check all cable the connections to all the LNBs and switches, make sure they are all fitted.

Are you using a switch or is the LNB connected to the STB directly?
If using a switch:
Try running the LNB directly to the switch to see if you have a a working LNB.If the quality and strength is up then your switch is dead. Otherwise you have a dead LNB and possibly a dead switch.

i've changed cables switch & lbn still no level or quality. thanks for the help. do you think my stb's are dead?

At the very least you should have strength and you get the quality when your aimed correctly at the desired bird.

Yes it is very possible that the STB could be causing the problem. It sounds like there is no power going to the LNBs. Do you have a spare STB or one you can borrow from someone just to test out if your STB is causing all this mess.
