Switch problem ???

I am having problems with my STB. I can only straight wire one LNB to my STB . When I hook up the diseqc switch, it either flashes a green light or here lately nwoulndt even power on from back. When I run a straight wire from my lnb to my stb it works fine. Any ideas what the problem is. I have tried 3 different switches. I am using the chieta 2.0 diseqc switch. Help...?

What type of LNB are you using?
Does it have an internal switch?

Why are you hooking a diseq switch to a DPlnb. It has one built in and 110/119 go down the 1 cable using bandstacking. If you have 2 receivers you use a DP twin and for 4 a dp quad.

if you are only hooking up onr stb , you only need one wire from the lnb to stb. NO switch needed for the DP lnb.

I have 4 lnbs on 2 dishes. I want to run all four wires into 1 wire. to my STB. What do I use? I thought that I used the switch that came with my neosat to convert down to one wire. What do I use??

Are you trying to get 119/110 and 91/82 to your receiver? If you have 2 Dish PRO PLUS dishes or twins, etc.? You can bring 1 wire from each dish in to your receiver, use a remote control A=B switch(Rad. Shack) to connect to STB. It works great
