Black screen again. No keys pop up when disconnecting & reconnecting to servers multiple times in the f4 screen.

I'm hoping this has something to do with the launching of hiks.

I don't know who said this, but this evening just adds more credence to the Neo as being the "yo-yo box".

I'm sorry, but a two hour test (of which the results I personally did not witness) does NOT wipe away two months of being down more than many less expensive strictly cardless boxes. If one DID test the beta hiks, a two hour testing is NOT a reasonably good sampling for uptime. When hiks goes up, are you going to go ga-ga for the couple of hours that you view, before freezing begins?? Again Neo has a credibility problem.

Oh, is 290 up??

does anybody know if 2.90 is working.....I tought all cardless fixes were hit and that the only sys working are iks'S....????????????????

Reported as wide open, obviously a very loose definition. I can get 105 but all the channels in the 240 ish range that worked yesterday say unsupported channel. Oh well will try a factory default and rescan again. After all this is a True Testers box. :P

2.90is up with IKS.As of hiurs their HIKS was tested so you will see some problems.Just be patient.

I missed the hiks test, stuck working late.....would have loved to seen it...I guess the server is in half baked mode again....I'll just wait until they say their ready....been waiting a long time a 100% iks from neo....whats a bit longer...I'll just watch my other iks stb, seems to be unbeatable....I like what I've been reading about Captain though....iks system thats stable and keeps getting better....ya never know who's the next " I gotta have that stb".......LOL......

Hey Bassist, FYI, the reason it was only 2 hours long was because v2 team is doing debugging still and there is a slight issue with one channel that creates an error. This is being worked on right now. thats why it was called a beta file. its purpose was to find more bugs/issues if there are any. its all progress!

ive been told to look for a final release tonight.

Meanwhile I'm back up on IKS on the usual channels. If you downloaded the HIKS beta and are now having problems do a factory default and rescan. then set f3 off on on and disconnect and reconnect.

Yah for those who did not test the beta HIKS is was just when V@ was online nd that was couple of hours.. So check later to see if the HIKS made to tonight.

Just reload 290 update over it, it will work that way

Reloaded 2.90 last night.
Turned on DN's Ch200 with off/on/on AND hiccups plus big itime freezing.

Turned on bv's Ch 1500 & it was smooth.

What Dish/LNB you need to get to get BV going? It is available anywhere in US? Where direction do you point it to find signal? can you reuse DAVE dish for it?
