Antenna Setup Echostar8,10 upper right says UnLock - ABA DSS

Confused cant get any channels In after the Auto setup it shows as the echostar8,10 next to satilite then at the immedate right it says Unlock does this mean i have to physacally go outside and repostion the satilite or something please help new to this second week of trouble shooting still no luck.

Very likely but your settings may be off which would cause that as well.

If you go to menu, installation,antenna setting And list your setting for both/all sats you aretrying to get.

Well what setting would i adjust please be specific cause im new? And moving it doesnt make any sense my buddy lived here before and used the same box with no trouble and the dish to my knowledge hasnt moved. So i dnt see why i would have to adjust it maybe it is the settings so please let me know know what settings i would adjust.

OK here are the settings if you are aiming at 110 and 119...
Echo 7(119)
LNB type DPLNBF
LNB Freq 11250
22khz none
Diseq1.0 Port 1
Legacy SW None
Transponder 12239/12486(either)
Motor off
Position disable

For Echo 8/10, use Port 2 and TP 12224

Scan one sat at a time instead of auto. The sat in the upper right hand corner is the one you are pointing at

Thank you but im still confused please sttick with me here ok you keep saying in the upper right hand corner the only thing on the right side of the screen is UnLock in the upper right hand corner. Echo star 7 is in the left ahnd corner above the lnb type thats it. What does the UnLock mean. And the bars on the bottom the top one has 1% and the bootom zero could this have any thing to do woth it ocasion ally they spike up to a 99% but then its only for a short second

If you have 1% on the top line on the bottom, that is LNB function. You either have a bad LNB, a disconnected LNB or your connections to your receiver is wrong.Make sure your wire from your dish is connected to the top left of the receiver when looking at the back of it. The other connection should be the bottom of the 2 connections on the right , out to tv or RCA connectors. Any thing else you will need to go out to your LNB

If it is disconected turn off box before hooking it back up

Try changing your LNB type to other settings and see if anything changes, just in case I have your LNB type figured wrong. Watch your signal as you change the settings to different ones

OK thats what was wrong now i got 292 channels off of echo star 8,10 now will i get more if i scan 7 as well?

No lol i had it hooked into the tv input no the lnd What about all the ufc and boxing acan i get those what happens if i point at other satilites can i get channels off them to or just those 2 and also theirs a faint lines on the screen is that bad connections or just the way it is?

You can get all of those events on those 2 sats. You can point at others but your best tv is 119 and 110.
You may help your picture by changing your RF Mod to channel 4.
Go to MENU> STB Setup> User Setup> you will see RF Modulator. Change it to channel 4, also change the channel on your tv to 4. See if that helps
