New Issue, Box reboots and Date comes up on screen - ABA DSS

I just had a strange occurance, I have been using my 8100 HD for my OTA Digital channels and everything has been working fine, but tonight, the box reset, came up showed the loader and software then the TV screen went blank and the display on the receiver came up with the date 01:01:00 or something like that.

This has noting to do with Dn, only off the air with the aSTC receiver in the box.

Before I try to do anything like try to change software or anything like that I thought I'd ask it here.... Anyone having a similar problem?

man i would just load factory file ...should fix the prob....

Thanks, I think I'll do a clear bin, then load the factory file as you suggested. I have never that this happen before for sure.. thanks for your input..

i would try a factory default from menu first

Done, got my OTA back and running.. .thanks guys for the suggestions... this coolsat is a great receiver, now only if they could work N3 out I'd be a really happy gator!

Again thanks, when I scanned the OTA channels, I picked up even more channels, so I guess the locals are adding content to the bandwidth... You have to love it.

Now, all I can do is hope the Coolsat does come up with an option for N3 better than buying a new box!
