CS 8100 not staying on

I loaded with a USB to serial cable and had to load the clean version first, then factory file, then latest bin. Same results.

Did the same steps, with the bin previous to this one, the pvr stays on at least. Just standby download with the latest keys.

Are the latest keys working for anyone else?

No alternate to Null Modem cable. Use a USB to Serial cable available all over. IRolling back to Factory bin gives error. Roll back to the 11.54.3F. You will at least have a stable system that does not keep cycling. Now wait for the next bin to be released.

If you go to the 11543F file you should get B3V but DN will be down. Until the next fix is released this is the only thing working for the 8100

Why haven't abadss taken this file off their website?

yes, you can use USB to serial port instead.

Everybody having trouble with this file for CS 8100. Why does this website still have the latest bin posted? Responsible sites have taken it down.

Have you found out how to fix it? I have the same problem and the CS Upgrade program doesn't seem to be working for me.

Yes, mine is working fine now. Did you get a USB to serial cable? if so, you need to follow these directions exactly

I tried this but the program won't let me use the unzipped file. It allows me to use the unzipped one but after I press start nothing happens.

Press start on the program then turn on the box via the back switch and it should start.
