Can anyone tell mt where you can change the (pal) to ntsc for 1080i on bev with the coolsat8100hd? the best I can get is 720 hd
the book just mentions that you can change it.
any help?

It can only get 1080i if the signal is being broadcast that way. Some hd is in 1080i but the majority are in 720. If you tune in on a channel sending a 1080i signal, your box should show it and do it automatically.

pal and ntsc is for different tv's in different countries some use pal and other ntsc. most tv sets will only do 1 or the other depending where they were intended for sale.
