91 W Nimiq 1
I'm trying to get both Bev and DN here's the problem i have all 4 setup per inst.like 91 w nimiq is
4
91 W Nimiq 1 119 W Echoestar 7
12224V 20000 Auto 12224V 20000 Auto
13/18V 13/18V
Standard standard
off off
diseqc Diseqc
3 1
off off
1
82 W Nimiq 2 3
12224V 20000 5/6 110 W Echo Star 8,10
13/18V 12224V 20000 auto
Standard Standard
off 13/18V
Diseqc off
4 Diseqc
off 2
off
Except echo star 8,10 shows as 10,11 and 91W Nimiq 1 is all that shows at the top where each should show what they are like 119 W Echoestar 7 and so on. I hope there is enough info so that someone can tell me how to fix this.

Re: 91 W Nimiq 1
wow thats confusing , kinda looks like you are getting the wrong satilites for your settings, when you scan is that your settings?
should say nimaq 1 when you scan nimaq 1 in not echostar ---whatever
if it does say echostar and your trying to scan in nimaq your not setup right !

hehe yea this is like the ports are messed
so make sure the port that is set for nimaq says nimaq before you scan it in your scanning the wrong satilites for the port setup
I think

I was just thinking about this setup and have decided you must be trying to tune to nimaq but you have tuned to 110 echostar, now if this is the case you would get that setting , so if the problem is that you want nimaq and your getting echostart you will need to retune the dish so that when your tuning the stb and you have the setting ready to pick up nimaq, make sure that nimaq is the satilite your tuning into, because you can tune the wrong bird into your settings
in other words keep tuning till nimaq say 91 or whatever and when tuning echostar make sure its tuned to 110 not 91
lol now u r as confused as me

Re: 91 W Nimiq 1
What i'm trying to do is set up 82 w/ 91 w/ 119 w and 110 w using 2 different satellite dishes one for DN and 1 Bev. But like you said i have the sats. in the wrong order. So now comes the task of unscrambeling them. So how do i do this i just know it's going to be a pain in the arss. Actually 91W is the only one right 110/119 are the ones i think are wrong 82 i haven't put the LNB up for that yet ,thinking that when i get the others to come then i'll put it up. So if anyone has any ideas i'll try them.

Re: 91 W Nimiq 1
lets start with 110 run a cable from 110 right to your stb.go to your antenna settings and see what it says.

Re: 91 W Nimiq 1
point your sats using one cable no switch like cisco said, when you get them tuned in make sure you have the right sat listed in the top corner. then hook them up to the switch and make sure you get the ports right in the setup. if you dont have the bin file loaded do that. then leave on ch 0200 for DN and 2218 for b3v, let them autoroll until channels come in. may take 10 or 15 min.
good luck and post back if you need more help.

if its a port number and your not switching that number should be none
untill you reassign all the ports
but assuming this is a good satilite, and its scannable--has a good signal
you would asign its port as 1
you will then go mark that port as 1 on your switch and hook thats lnb to that port
then you will hook you cable to the next lnb you are going to find, lets say echostar 119
you will go thru the same process

hehe ok now after u have found echostar 110 and now have a port asigned, and you now get the next sat and port asigned to port 2
you will repeat the process untill you have found each sat and asigned it a port number that will then be scanned in
so in other words you will go to scan the sats in
and echostar 10/11 will be port 1
ehcostar 119 will be port 2
nimaq 91 will be port 3 or what ever then you will asign those good port numbers to the the satilites and then scan them inwith those settings
they should all be right after that

yes that will be echostar 10/11 as DISEqC port 1
the DISEqC switch will have 4 IN ports 1234 and one lnb out to stb of course
and all will be asigned when you get done

Re: 91 W Nimiq 1
so you know where echostar 10/11 lnb is and you now know where lnb port 1 is
make sure that you mark these so we dont get confussed when you go to hook all 4 lnb up
you will then hook your single cable up to the lnb going to echostar 119
and go get it showing up as echostar 119 on the stb
