I got coolsat 8100 how do i get hd chennels, do i need a chip now?

I believe that you can get the HD channels that B3V offer on Nimiq 2 at 82W but the CS8100 is not capable of getting the HD channels on DN. Just tune your dish to 82W and enjoy the HD that B3V has to offer

TDuke is right you can only get the hd on bev at 82w if you want dn hd you will need to get a sonicview or viewsat or even a pansat

Hi, I have 82.0w but there is no channels that I wanted, they are all on 129 or on 61.5 So basically, there is nothing I can do with this coolsat8100 so it would catch 129 or 61.5. I have dish 500, may be hd 1000.2 dish will work with this receiver or changing lnb? Please help.

you need an "HD" reciever plus an "8psk" or "illuminatti board" for all the other HD programming on DN...

yes get the dish 1000.2 and pick up 119/110/129 and your receiver will work fine with that

Im sorry I'm trying to understand better so it is my crapy dish 500, I need better hd (like 1000.2) dish right? And this dish will be able to locate 129?

no matter what dish you have you will not get the hd channels on dn without a 8psk module and they don't make one for coolsat

you can pick up the sats and any standard def channels on them but not the hd channels

Hi, sorry to bother you again, I want to send this receiver back, but i need the original factory file that was there when I first got it, I did not make a copy in my computer. Now where can i get it? Please help!!!!
