New to the site and new to HD
Hello everyone,
Did alot of searching here and I "think" I got my answers but wanted to make sure of a few things.
I got a Coolsat 8100 today to start getting HD programs on my new HD LCD.
I understand that unfortunatley I cant get HD DishNet but thats ok, so 82W is my only option.
Now here is my question.
1) Can I get 91 and 82 on one dish using my 18" dish?
My current setup is 1 eliptical dish with 110 and 119 and another 18" dish with only 91. All of these are going into a Disecq 1.2. So 119 into 1, 110 into 2 and 91 into 3.
2) My guess if question 1 is possible do I have to switch my 18" to an eliptical and hit 91 and 82 or can i use 2 lnbs on the 18"?
3) Then can i bring in the 82 and plug it into LNB 4 on my Disecq?
Am I on the right track?
Thanks in advance everyone!

1) Can I get 91 and 82 on one dish using my 18" dish? yes depending on your location

2) My guess if question 1 is possible do I have to switch my 18" to an eliptical and hit 91 and 82 or can i use 2 lnbs on the 18"? you can use 2 lnbs on the 18" dish again depending on your location
3) Then can i bring in the 82 and plug it into LNB 4 on my Disecq? yes but it is nag3 now and will have to wait on the crack
Am I on the right track? yes

Sorry you mean wait for a new file? Still a little new to all this so accept my apologies. Should I sitll go ahead with this setup and wait for a new file if this is what you mean?
Thanks!

Re: New to the site and new to HD
Welcome to Aba!!!! We are losing 91 channels every day to the new n3 encryption. Just a matter of time until we lose them all & then we will just have to wait for the coders to do there magic.

Should I cancel my 8100 HD receiver that I ordered? Of course none of us know what will happen until the coders do their magic but wanted opinions to see if I should hold off in case the existing hardware that is out there becomes redundant. Plus I purchased it to get BEV HD which from what I understand it not possible atm.
Thoughts?

Re: New to the site and new to HD
Thanks for all the warm welcomes.
So I decided to cancel my 8100 Coolsat order since it seems things could change in the near future. Since I wanted to get BEV HD programming but its currently down I think its wise to wait and see.
