Re: 8psk module
I just reviewed the spec for the 8100 its an HD and its unclear as to whether the unit comes with the 8psk card installed or if it is an add on.
They typically range from $125 - 200 does your unit have the card installed in side it?

Re: 8psk module
i would call the manufacturer and ask if it's installed, or if it's necessary. there might be an 8-psk already integrated into the mainboard...no way of telling for sure.

Re: 8psk module
I believe the CS 8100HD uses an add on Dongle and not an 8psk module, but I could be wrong.

Re: 8psk module
I emailed coolsat and they said they have no plans to make a 8psk. The 8100 uses a qpsk (4psk) and does not pick up HD on 110 or 119.

Re: 8psk module
So what sucks is I have HD reciever but I can't get any HD channels. As I understand, all the HD channels on 110 and 119 need the 8psk card. Are there any sats I can point to to get HD with a qpsk card?
