Help
Guys I don't know much about any of this and i am trying to learn. But it's hard if nobody can point me in the right direction. I have a cs8100. I only have the 119/110 installed for now. I have not scanned anything. I did make a copy of the reciever's original "bin" and saved it to my pc. I need to know what to do next. Please help.

Re: Help
if you just purchased this particular stb in hopes of receiving high definition on dn(110/119/129/61.5/148w etc),you may want to send the unit back,as it is not compatible.
if your aware of this, carry on.
if you didn't realize this, sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

Re: Help
two things....First, I used the above mentioned file and it worked great for about two hours. Thanks for that. Downside is now it is going black every couple minutes and giving me the "scrammbled channel" message. Second, why won't the HD reciever I just bought recieve HD?

Re: Help
i believe all other brands are capable of DN hd with an add on module. the cs8100 has no place to add the new board. not sure what coolsat was thinking when they built it.
